Okay, I know this is a blog about writing and in a few days there will be a post about that subject. But today was the first day of my new course at UCLA Extension, Courage & Craft, and Nelson came to class and was much beloved. (My friend Jan came to dinner tonight and said, "Well he certainly has big ears.")
