If you live in the South Bay of Los Angeles, (or anywhere close) please come to pages bookstore in Manhattan Beach next Thursday, October 18th for a book party for A Year of Writing Dangerously. I'll be reading and signing books. And Nelson will be there too! (but not signing books.)

I'm especially excited about this event because it's being co-hosted by The Writing Center and there's a story about connecting with them, in particular with John Barksdale the Editorial Director. I'll tell the story at my reading.
