A number of readers have asked if I’m planning more writing workshops and the answer is yes, but not this summer. (I'm planning weddings this summer.)  I'll be teaching at UCLA Extension in the fall and also in the Writers Studio (through UCLA) next February – a four day course on the personal essay.  I’m also thinking about a three day workshop in Lake Arrowhead in October or next spring. Meanwhile love, romance and weddings have broken out in my family. Three family weddings this summer (not to mention that wedding in India next March). Everyone is over the moon with happiness around here and I’m just going to wallow in it for awhile.
