I got the Mac.

Just buying the thing was amazing. It was like a party at the Apple Store on Third Street in Santa Monica. The place was packed – and the very coolest thing of all: people can bring their dogs in so there were dogs everywhere. I’m not good at change but I think I’m about to fall in love with my new computer. Or as soon as I figure out iWork. I was fooling around with iPhoto today and plugged in my beloved new iPhone and lo and behold – all my pictures were instantly on the Mac. I may never write another essay or book – I’ll just fool around with my pictures and blog a lot.  And now I’m signed up to go in for a one to one. It’s like a real date. After dealing with a PC that required you to call people in Texas who put you on hold a lot – I cannot tell you what it’s like to have help literally around the corner. With real people. And dogs!
