When you see people at a
resort carrying clipboards and Starbuck containers, all revved up and giving
and taking orders it is not a good sign. And they were everywhere. Very early
in the morning the day after the fake storm for the Super Bowl commercial in
the pool we went to the beach on the other side of the hotel. “What are those
things?” I asked R as huge pipes were erected near the shore. “Guess,” he said.
The fake storm had come to the beach. But I have to tell you my irate emails got
results – and a small donation to Haiti. And – oh miracles of miracles –
Verizon solved my password problem and my emails all went zipping out with that
wonderful whoosh sound your Mac makes when things are working properly.

 And now we’re getting
ready to head back to L.A. for a real storm.

The April retreat in
Arrowhead is full but I’ve started a waiting list and if you’re interested in
being on it let me know.  A few of
the participants in the last retreat had to drop out and I filled it from the
list. Also, I give advance notice of retreats to those who were on the waiting
