We leave for Los Angeles in the morning and I'm going to miss my dawn walks on Burma Road. And I'm really going to miss the buddies I meet every morning. Like this girl below who's a free range cow and greets me every morning with a combination of curiosity and panic.  A concerned reader commented on the cat a few posts back – (Mama Cat was in the middle of the road and looked very much alone and the reader was worried about her.) Not to worry: A car comes down that road about every three hours and Mama Cat has two families who feed her, a warm, safe place to sleep, and I had her spayed a couple of years ago. This morning it was so cold that I warmed her left over chicken breakfast in the microwave . There's a picture of her below in front of one of her houses.
