Yes, I know the photograph is sideways. When I opened it in iPhoto to correct the position it was fine, everybody was sitting up not looking like they were lolling on a beach somewhere and staring at the horizon surrounded by a lot of books. But after spending about half an hour trying to get everybody upright I thought, the hell with it. 

In any event it was a great evening and I'd like to thank everybody who came to Village Books in Pacific Palisades Monday night. You were a terrific audience and CHERISHED sold out. A big thank you to my authors – the wonderful Linzi Glass, the amazing Mernits, Judith and Billy, the star vet Dr. Bob, the incandescent Monica Holloway (and her fan club) and darling Jenny Rough.

Tomorrow night I'll be in La Canada, California reading and signing at Flintridge Bookstore with Linzi, Dr. Bob, and three authors new to CHERISHED LA readings – Cecilia Brainard, Melissa Cistaro, and Samantha Dunn. There would be no book of course without these talented writers who I absolutely love.
