Writing Exercises: Two Trips to Butte and Snow

 Snow in butte

Yesterday was a very strange day but offered three writing exercises for this blog, if not a cohesive chain of events to write about.

1. Write about seeing someone (or a family group) off at the airport after a visit.

2. Write about a medical emergency and the feelings you have in a hospital.

3. Write about unusual weather.

Sometimes stuff happens and none of it connects at the moment but you write notes in your journal and maybe it’ll fit into an essay or fiction someday.

(As for real life – a daughter and her family returned home to Los Angeles yesterday, a stepdaughter had a medical scare but is on her way to recovery, and it snowed during both trips to Butte yesterday – which in Montana isn't really that unusual, even in June.)
