I've got a whole bag of them I'm bringing up to Lake Arrowhead for the retreat this weekend. "Eagle Poem" by Joy Hajo, "Creature on Fire" by Brian Andreas, "How To Read a Poem: Beginner's Manual" by Pamela Spiro Wagner, "Famous" by Naomi Shihab Nye among many others. (You can Google them to find them.)  The last minute empty space for the retreat filled – and I'm looking forward to three days of being with writers in a gorgeous setting with nothing to do but write and talk about books.
