Come to UCLA’s Writers’ Program

Writer party

The UCLA Extension Writers Studio begins February 10th and there are still some spaces left in my workshop: Writing the Personal Essay – a four day intensive course designed to help you reach your writing goals for publishing essays. It's for those of you who have essays you're working on now and also for those who want to start writing them.  I call it boot camp because we work hard and the days are long, but we also have a great time. And at the end of four days you'll have an essay ready to send out plus other essay ideas to continue with, and a network of writing buddies. Also – the wonderful staff gives us cookies and coffee. If you're interested and have any questions please email me at: B.Abercrombie@verizon.net. Or if you want to sign up right away contact UCLA Extension.

My friend and student, brilliant writer and teacher (and dog rescue person!), Linzi Glass begins teaching "Writing the Novel Scene by Scene" on January 18th next week. Call UCLA at (310) 825-9971 to sign up.
