Unsticking the Stuckness

It’s gray in Santa Monica early this morning. The sky, the inside of my head, all gray fluffy stuff. I need inspiration. Stiff words march across my computer screen. Like little soldiers. So earnest that I want to press delete.

Instead I open Safekeeping by Abigail Thomas, read a bit, and words start to bloom again, loosen up and dance, they fool around, get quirky. All bets are off, all stuckness vanishes.

We all need to find the writer who turns us on, gets us going again, loosens us up.

A space just opened up in my October Lake Arrowhead retreat.  Please contact me if you’re interested. Dates are: October 2 – 4.
